It is an Elaphe. I know my other Elaphe eats rats like they were going out of style. I think he was probably WC and thus is used to a varied diet. As for Cadmus (the snake in question), I don't think moving it will work. In the past if he hasn't wanted to eat his mice, moving them hasn't helped. I don't think he has come to associate movement with food at all. I will try a female rat, or perhaps smaller rats, though. If it finaly comes down to it, I can always just keep him on mice. Thanks for the tips.
