Thanks for the replies, everyone!
I was fouled up in my measurements: got a reasonably good reading on the biggest one. About 23 inches and about as thick as my little finger (I was thinking of artist's pencils - d'oh!). So, a little bigger than I was guessing.
They are at a comfortable temperature, 75 - 80 degrees. When I provided them with a basking spot, they avoided it (it wasn't too hot or anything) so I have moved them to a warm part of the room, but it is never above the low 80's.
As for looking for food -- they are always eager to eat, except the largest, and he refuses food if offered too soon after a large feed. They don't crawl constantly, though. They probably spend 90% of their time in one hiding spot or another.
They seem in fine health otherwise, are friendly and alert, reasonably active, fleshy. I can't feel their spines or ribs. I'm inclined to step up their feedings to every 3 or 4 days, and offer them a little more food at each feed. I don't want to overfeed, but they're so SMALL.
