Ok, so I've got an Elaphe radiata... when I got him at a couple months old, and up until a few months ago (not sure exactly when) he had two pairs of lines down his body, the pair of big thick ones down his back, and the thinner pair down each side. Now he also have another much less distinct line down each edge of his ventral scales. This new pair of lines also begins further from his head and fades out closer to his head than the other two pairs. A couple of pictures in which said lines are visible are included below... in the first one, the line is darkest where it is least apparent, to the right of my fingers. Unfortunately, I have no earlier pictures that would show the previous absence of these lines. To be honest, I'm not -totally- sure I didn't just manage to overlook them earlier, or if they're even worth mentioning in the first place... but I'm wondering, has anyone else hear heard of/seen this kind of thing in E. radiata?
