Greetings, Nyx:
We've corresponded on this before. Your baby needs more than just mouse-tails. Sure, the tails are tiny, and therefore quite easy to get down; but they're not providing enough nutrtition for your baby to survive.
I know that it is hard to obtain pinkies in Lloydminster. My son purchased your baby's sibling for me, and he tells me that they charged him $1.00 each for a dozen pinkies. I can't recall where I read it, but I've seen a recipe for feeding babies using Gerbers or similar baby-food from a jar. This has to be mixed with a small volume of water to make it more fluid, then administered by syringe.
It isn't something I'd resort to except as the last extreme. Before trying that, I'd try force-feeding whole newborn pinkie-mice.
I presently have about five-dozen frozen on hand here, and am willing to split the cost of shipping with you, if you want me to arrange to send them down there to my son. Let me know. Shipping won't be cheap; however, it would assure you that you had an adequate supply available.
Patricia
