I think it's not as easy as it sounds. For example, everybody was expecting to sell their Rhynchophis (I know, they don't belong in this forum, and please don't let me hear the term "Rhino Ratsnake" again or I'm going to puke), ...where was I, oh yes, ...for $1500 per pair, but I really don't know of anybody who had sold any this year. I think at the Daytona show they went as low as $1100 and still didn't sell. With their fairly large clutches, who knows what they sell for next year. I'm kinda glad I didn't jump onto that bandwagon. Look at White-Sided black rats, didn't they sell for at least $500 each about two years ago? Dwight mentioned earlier that he had seen them for $75 each at the Expo. I'm not one to sell my animals real low, but try to find a medium to avoid sitting on the animals forever. A lot of times I need money for animals that I planned on acquiring, and if I would wait too long, they might not be available anymore. By the way, I actually went up a little on my E. situla this year, not by much, but I don't think I'll have trouble selling them since hardly anybody bred them this year.
Oops, I rambled on and barely addressed the issue. Well, it all does sound like a great idea, but very difficult to implement.
Sacha
