wc obselata regurging "spit"

I just got a bunch of wc ratsnakes in and will be shotgunning them shortly. 2 animals I have seen regurge with nothing but mucus and I'm feeling real lazy tonite so I dont want to break out the microscope. What is the most likely culprit? INtestinal parasites or the beginnings of respiratory problems? I'd like to know which drugs to use first. Thank you in advance,J
