I've been breeding Goynosomas for some time now and have also seen "Elaphe Janseni" offered for sale. Economics and time have not allowed for me to acquire any. Although I've yet to see any "Janseni" in person, all the photos of those offered for sale look exactly like a color morph of the commonly seen Green phase Goynosomas. I also have kept the Grey phase w/yellow heads and know for a fact that they come in a myriad of colors - and I also suspect that w/a snake as widely distributed as Goynosoma is, that there are many morphs yet to be discovered. People I've talked to that have "Janseni" also concur as to the remarkable resemblance both share - I'm probably going to cause a stir here but I have my suspicions that "Janseni" are Goynosomas of a different color - only suspicions - never read nor requested any taxonomic data either way.
