I haven't had experience with this myself but I thought I would let you know that several people mentioned on the Field Collecting Forum that they have been able to successfully hatch eggs found in or next to hit by car snakes. Usually not 100% successful but GOOD LUCK!

Hope you are able to save at least some of the babies!
