I ended up buying about a dozen baby snakes at the expo, and didn't have a clue what I was going to do with them to get them home. I ended up going to a local Walgreens and buying a pair of women's panyhose. I split them at the crotch, making each leg a "snake bag." I put a snake in, tied a knot, then put another in. I then took each leg (with six or so baby snakes, each individually wrapped, lol) and rolled them up inside of a tube sock and placed them in my carry on luggage. At the time I had really long hair and looked quite unruly, so to disguise myself I pulled my hair back and dressed as neatly as I could. (Left the Ozzy and reptile expo T-shirts in my duffel bag) I did this to keep from arousing any unnecessary attention, and I think it helped. I walked right on through no problems, but boy was I sweating bullets! Every year since, I have driven instead of flying. That way I don't have to worry.
Good luck,
dg
