You do have a very good point although I think the ssp. is a bit more defined i.e. triaspis, mutabilis and intermedia. All of the green rats we find in arizona are about the same and I think the people selling local green rats are a little off the wall but that's just me. We are in the very extreme northern most range and Senticolis go south almost to Panama.
I'm not going to drag this out as I'm sure we are both talking out of our love for snakes and I really don't think anybody is doing anything bad so long as snakes are not suffering. The people trying to build 6000+ home developments in green valley are the ones doing the most harm.
