Okay, does this happen to anyone else? I've been breeding my corns for 3 years now. The 1st clutch only had 5 babies hatch but all were fine. The second had only one survivor, while 5 more went close to full term but died. When I deshelled them, several were normal bodied except that in the middle they were think as a string for maybe 2 cm tops. In this summer's clutch (3rd), 5 eggs made it to the end, but one near full-term baby died and the others hatched. All 4 are eating and healthy but the one albino of the group has a severe kink in the middle of it's back. I think there may be a connection between him and those deformed ones that died in-shell in the 2nd clutch. The parents are a normal male carrying for amelanism, and a snow female;a non-related pair. I'm guessing they may be just genetically incompatible or one is carrying something awful because if it were a problem with my incubation, there would probably all sorts of different results with regards to mutations and maladies. Any deep thoughts?
