Well folks I had an exciting week last week. Some of you know a Sacha Korell and his work with reptiles and web pages. Mr Korell came out for visit to California and Terry Parks and myself took Sacha herp hunting two nights. First we looked in the Mojave area for great basin, kings, etc. and due to the wind and full moon we had no luck. Then he came to my neck of the woods to hunt (no luck either). The great part is that during Sacha's nights between our trips he did some road hunting in and around Lancaster Ca. So when he came to see us on his final night in Ca. he handed me a bag and says "I have some thing you may like" I opend it and saw a nice male great basin gopher as I was expressing my joy over his find he says "Well then I know you are going to like this too" he pulls out a second bag and I found another great basin in it only female. All came from the same locality and with data. Of course this puts Sacha on the top of my christmas card list lol (I am the pituophis side of Terry Parks). I just thought it was comical that he comes all the way out here to hunt with us and does better on his own. I hope he had as much fun as I did. Thanx again Sacha...
