A huge black snake (6 to 7' long) found inside the house in San Antonio, Texas. The house is close to a large river and wooded area. The first suggestion was a Kingsnake. After much investigating on the internet I found Kingsnakes to be much smaller and usually differnet colors. The close comparison was a Cottonmouth which seemed to look more like the description of the snake in the house and do get 6' long... The girl who had the snake in the house said they eat eggs and give off a bad odor also. (She has lived there for numerous years) Is this a Kingsnake? Any ideas???
