Hey John, the name of the animal you wrote of, is Porphyracea coxi, also sometimes called the red mountain racer, as well. Extremely beautiful and seemingly quite hardy snakes, that might well grow to a larger size than the printed guidelines of 26-30 inches would indicate. I presently am keeping 2.1 99 hatchlings, which have reached about 17 inches in length in just a few months.
