Hi! Used to keep a variety of snakes, but since retiring up here in the Northwest just enjoy the species I see outdoors(which are pitifully few!). I message board on a duck forum and several times people on there have had problems keeping "Texas Rat Snakes" from eggs 'n' ducklings/chicks. Myself, I'd screen in the nesting places so, don't know what they are doing! One person suggested putting mothballs around the perimeter? Anyone have any thoughts about this? "They" seem to think that snakes in general dislike these things, I've never heard of this one! Advice would be welcome. Thanks, :) Little Quacker
