Usually when you see just a few, it means there is a hundred (thousand?) more where you dont see them.
Another good thing is to remove any type of wood product from the cage (bedding, logs, bark) and use a blotting paper or paper towel for the cage bottom.
Mites are not extremely hard to get rid of, but I wouldnt bother freezing cage props. Usually soaking in a mild soap or even diluted bleach water will kill any eggs or nymphs still attached.
There are some good products available.
Diluted neguvon used to work good, but im not sure of the availability of that product any longer. Black Night roach spray is used in alot of places now (zoo's etc), and there is 5% sevin dust. The list goes on, there are many ways to get rid of mites, good luck.
