crap..black rat has some mites..please help

ok...my blackr rat snake has some mites...i dunno how many but he has some. I noticed them when i was cleaning the cage when a few of them were crawling on my hand..i killed those...then when i was cleaning the cages...i put all my decoratives in the freezer for about 30 min. to hopefully kill the ones that were on there...then i put the snake in a tub of water for about 30 min....i cleaned and scrubbed the cage really good...but i know i need medicines or something to get rid of them...can someone give me the easiest way to get rid of them (i know getting rid of them is tough) thank you so much

p.s the snake is about 4 1/2 foot long and i had it since feb 5, 2001
