I have found a simple way to do it, take a frozen thawed pink, was it with soap and water, pat it dry and you can take a small patch of lizard skin/scales and place it on the forehead of the pinky, or you can rub a live or freshly dead lizard all over the pink.
It may not work with picky snakes ,but it has worked that way for me numerous times, mainly with celaenops. Thankfully most ratsnakes are not that picky.
