There are several different methods that are used.I use a slightly digusting method that involves a dead lizard,but it almost always works.You put the dead lizard in the freezer until it is solid,then break it in half about midbody.Take half of it and put just the broken end under some hot water for a few seconds,just long enough to thaw out the end.Then take the pinky and rub its head around in the lizard guts,and offer it to the snake.You can refreeze the lizard and use it again several times.Don't get the biggest lizard you can find for this,smaller lizards are less messy.This has been a very effective method for getting baby milksnakes and graybands to eat.
