That is about what I thought...day-old chicks.They look plucked,if so I guess they are sold that way or you plucked them?If not,I suppose they are just wet.I frequently run incubators for Gamecock chicks,and would like to try this myself for my 5'spiloides(I am interested in the white-oak phase),but I was unsure how frequently to feed a chick or egg within the rodent diet.
These snakes are heavy feeders on cavity-nesting and other birds in season where I live in Alabama close to the Florida line.Hopefully, this protocol will supplement my snake's diet in a positive way.
