Terry,
I have not had any luck with my situlas in the past two years, and contribute that to the mild winters we've had down here in Alabama. In the winter prior to my first successful breeding, I was able to hibernate them in the mid to upper 50's (55F to 60F), but that seems to be the maximum temperature for hibernating situlas and thus priming them for successful breeding (from my limited experience). I'd rather like to keep mine in the lower fifties (50F to 55F), and I am actually able to accomplish this with my current setup. I would however not let the temps drop much below 50F (according to a very good article I have).
