There is nothing to worrie about if your snake has not lost a tremendous of weight. Often in winter, snakes do not eat for the entire winter and they come through it ok. Perhaps if you wish to not hibernate your snake, you should offer the food in his house rather than moving him around to another tank as the movement makes him think he can now seek a hiding spot to rest the winter in. Also leave a small fuzzy mouse in there at night and see what is up the next day. He will eat if hungry and not consumed by the change in seasons.
