I'm sure you mean illegal for USPS..as it is. I think it is disgraceful when a breeder or buyer even hints at using that method to ship snakes. UPS is only quasi-legal and the main offices (ya know, the ones in charge of the local offices and who tells them what to do) says NO to all reptile shipments based on their regulations. Besides, I know of too many animals that have died that way for me to want to ever recieve animals via that method. I strongly urge everyone to use Delta if at all possible.

Why can't people think of the big picture? If Dash is $60 and the other method is $20 (which is really chgeaper than it probably would be), that's only a $40 difference. Divide $40 by the life expectancy of the snake and figgure out what that extra cost you in the long run to ensure the health of the snake.....makes one feel kinda small sometimes, huh?

Nobody wants to pay $60 shipping on a $175 animal let alone a $60 to $80 animal. What do you do? Many people want me to ship via post office priority mail. This is very cheap however is it not very illegal also. What does everybody else do?
