In Reply to: everlglades rats...are they all aggressive? posted by dingle on November 06, 2000 at 15:35:58:
No.My everglades is the nicest American Rat snake i have.He kind of seems like he likes to be held.My other rats are not bad (exept for the Texas rats),but they are more hyper and shake their tails once in a while, but never bite.My everglades is very mellow, properly named - Geet.
: Are all everglade rats aggressive? Every one that I have seen and/or held is just downright nasty? Is this because they are a swamp snake, or have I just been unlucky in seeing the mean ones? I've always had good luck in holding corns and black rats, but the Glades like to snap, hiss, and bite!
