I have been incubating 13 Grey Ratsnake eggs for about 60 days. They are the first set of eggs I have obtained. In the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the white outside of most of the eggs has started to sort of stretch, leaving a membrane through which I think I can see the hatchlings inside. But the eggs seem very hard to the gentle touch and nothing else appears to be happening. I am beginning to get worried that they are not ok. Can someone give me a description of how the eggs should look as they come up towards hatching? I would be very interested. J
