This little guy is from the western-most portion of the range of E. dione. It's home is the s.e. portion of the Ukraine, where habitat is the "Steppes" biome. It is about 45* N. latitude. They have a very short, unpredictable active season. Notice the somewhat degenerated pattern, and kinda messed up colors, although the light gray ground can be quite interesting. I think the Ukraine dione is related to hohenackeri and situla also, moreso than the Chinese dione is.
