Since I don't see anyone else posting a reply--don't know if anyone replied off post--I'll throw in my two cents.
I suspect it is just doing this out of fear. With gentle, consistent handling it should get over this. If it is eating well, has good muscle tone, normal movements & behavior, etc. I wouldn't worry too much. But if there are other signs of an unwell snake, than seek some more expert advice, prefferably from someone who can actually examine the snake.
