I've got a 6 year old female Taiwan and a 2 year old male. Both are captive born and raised. I've had the female for about 5.5 years and she's a great snake. She never bites, she eats like a hog, and she's got great color. I just got the male a few months ago and, while he was really nervous and nippy at first, he has settled down nicely. My questions are: 1) Should I try to breed them this next season?, 2)What temps. and how long should I overwinter them?, 3)Does it matter who I introduce into which cage (male into female's or vice versa). This will be my first attempt at breeding anything though I do have the book "Rat Snakes: A Hobbyist's Guide To Elaphe And Kin" by Satszko and Walls and it has been very useful. I wanted to get as much info as possible before I attempt to breed them. Any info will be greatly appreciated!
