How big of a tank will my ratsnake need as a adult? more...

i have a texas leucistic rat snake, a baby male, as an adult how big of a tank will he need?
also, he does not bite at all, EVER, but he just tries to get out of your hands when you hold him...hes 6 mos old now, any ideas at what age they tend to stop being so scared?
