My Rat Snakes scales are coming off one at a time but I dont think she is sheding. I'm not sure how to explain it other then it looks like she scraped them on something but theres nothing she could have dont that one. I've had a cardboard hidebox for her that i keep moist with a heater on underneath it. This hasn't helped her. She just does not look like shes sheding. Its just in patches such as her underside and on her tail and behind her head. She is wild caught. I've never had a snake do this before. I noticed this a week and a 1/2 ago. The only thing in her cage is a large water bowl, a cardboard hidebox and some drift wood. The bedding is Aspen and shes in a 40 gallon critter cage. Is she not getting enough humididty or something?
