Just because it is considered so, it doesn't MAKE it so.

All three of those theories have been proposed. You can look to my page (www.kingsnake.com/kj/corns.html) for more info. Follow the link there for a more indepth discussion of the theories. You'll find MY idea on the matter based on all available data to me -- and I have a bonus over the taxonomists: i don't need to say something different "just to get that paper published." LOL.
