i have a pair of these and they are truly a cool species of snake. i've worked with many, many species, and these remain one of my favorites. they are beautiful, arboreal, diurnal, and active. is hard to find a better list of qualities in a snake.
they are not the easiest though. they require a pretty big cage, lots of humidity and, in my opinion, significant UV light. i follow these principles and have successfully bred them. just had one hatch today and i'm pretty sure the female is going into her prelay shed again.
with some attention to detail, these can be very rewarding captives. be forewarned, though, wild-caughts are no walk in the park
