Belly burn

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what to do when a reptile gets a belly burn from a heat source. I have a rat snake that has burned his belly and he appears to be fine outwardly but it looks like a good burn underneat and it is right under is stomach. What should I do........I already turned down the heat:)
