: : : That image you sent is a hypomelanistic example. I recommend you do not release it. It probably will not survive in the wild due to its subdued melanin content. The other reason not to release it is because it's not that common a morph. Breed it to an amel. to see what you come up with. Good luck.

: Thank you for understanding plain english. I would never release this animal. As far as breeding it to an amel that would be a waste since it looks better than any amel. Its hard to tell in the photo but it has shades of olive in the back half with grays too which would be lost if it was bred into an amel line.

Regarding the breeding of them to the amels., I too breed the hypos and think the "sunglow" of this species would be beautiful. Someone should be working on that.
