: : : I have had Luecistics for years and the babies are terrors. Sub adults are also usually terrors. Mine seem to calm down around 3 feet long. However I have a lone female hypo texas rat that is unreal in color and it is 4 feet long and the worst snake I've ever had. I'm tempted to get rid of it. I want to breed it once though to get hets. I have had mean snakes calm down after they mature and breed.

: : That image you sent is a hypomelanistic example. I recommend you do not release it. It probably will not survive in the wild due to its subdued melanin content. The other reason not to release it is because it's not that common a morph. Breed it to an amel. to see what you come up with. Good luck.

: Dean didn't say he was tempted to release it, he said he was tempted to get rid of it. Which I interpreted as selling, trading, giving away. Not releasing.
Thank you for understanding plain english. I would never release this animal. As far as breeding it to an amel that would be a waste since it looks better than any amel. Its hard to tell in the photo but it has shades of olive in the back half with grays too which would be lost if it was bred into an amel line.
