my question is does the eggs look fertile ? my female splendida shed a couple of days ago and she also released some slugs. they where totally deformed (looks like bright yellow ball python crap ! hehe). she's still totally gravid and robust. i can even see the buldges from the on her side. if the egg that your female layed looks ok i would just incubate it and consider it a "early gift" :) hope it helped
