Schrencki) I have seen some that look almost the same. Most people think They're dull snakes although I love them. The adults are about 90% block with yellow to mustard bands, the best way to really tell is if there's a lot of Yellow under the jaw. Also the scales are a bit rougher then a Corn Snake or Milk/King Snake.

May be I discribed the coloration poorly-It's very reminisent of a coachwhip but no black head and darker rings on the last third-the chin is fairly bright yellow though. It's robust. And it has a very unusual killing style-not the typical rat snake wrap. It squishes the mouse between loops of it's body-sideways. It's an interesting and very alert creature.
