Never go with comon names if you don't have to. I think what you're saying is that you have an Elaphe Schrencki Anomala? I work with the Russian Rat snakes (E. Schrencki) I have seen some that look almost the same. Most people think They're dull snakes although I love them. The adults are about 90% block with yellow to mustard bands, the best way to really tell is if there's a lot of Yellow under the jaw. Also the scales are a bit rougher then a Corn Snake or Milk/King Snake.
