Hi again Terry
Reintroducing snakes with the blessing of the officials is not only hard It is nearly impossible mot places. The destruction of land leaves small oases in a desert of farming land impossible to several species to cross. These oases are often to small to keep sufficient gens and many species die out after a period of time. Introduction of new gens can keep the species alive for many generations and maybe the areas has increased at that time. All over the industialised world people starts openining their eyes for their previous mistakes and generates large areas for the "wild" flora and fauna, but if the species are already gone, it could be to late. Maybe I am a fanatic OK if so, but I care, and I don`t want any reptiles to disapear if I can do anything. That is why I really hope that more reptile keepers starts interesting them self for the natural thing.
I don`t know how it is over there, but if we as a hobby should survive in a world, where the officials do everything to close our hobby bye restrictions, we must justify our existence, and try to do something for our local fauna.
P.S. I send you a mail on the gloydis on how I bred them. It might be worth reading.
Best wishes
Søe
