I got my Japanese ratsnake around 9 months ago and he was mostly a good feeder and a great handler. But after being away for about 2 months I can barely get him out of his cage! The thing is that when heís out 30 secs later heís great but getting him out is the problem. He isn't an aggressive snake and when he has struck his mouth was closed (hope it was deliberate). Heís about a yr and a bit old now and around four ft long and was captive bred. The vivariumís front opening so should be easier. I donít have a snake hook but will get one if thatís the only thing I can do.
Really I just wanted some tips about how to get him out.
Thanks, Eliot
