these are a great snake for the collection. I had asked about their care and eating. You both mentioned they are good eaters and hardier than we think. I wish publishers would update some of the books we buy and read concerning rat snakes, especially old world. The books now were telling how they were back when they were being imported only and there wasn't hardly any if at all US breedings. I've been surprised and thankful that the captive bred I've gotten are good eaters and very hardy snakes. All you old world US breeders have done a great job and worked with alot of imports that were difficult to get through a first breed to get offspring. Your efforts and sacrifices, personally and financially, have given us the opportunity to work with and enjoy some extremely nice snakes. I'll have to gear towards getting a pair in the future.

:Just having fun.
