VERY nice snake... Can you give some info about the habitat etc. Any info about how the live in the wild would be highly appreciated (preferably also by email)

I keep both Pantherophis vulpinus gloydi and Pantherophis vulpinus vulpinus at the moment and would like to learn as much about them as possible.

: I found this fox snake yesterday near Chicago. It was one of the prettier ones I have found, lots of copper/orange. When I first saw it curled up in a clump of grass I thought I stumbled upon a Massasauga, as I was in an area where they are rumored to inhabit.
