In Chinatown here in New York, I've yet to come across Mandarin's as a food source, but I did stumble upon a huge box of Mandarins, gutted and dried, essentially just the skins. I believe they were $35 each. The price caught me as a high as most everything else for sale on the street is much cheaper.
