In a previous post there was some discussion of whether Mandarin Rat Snakes were collected as food/medicinal source. I remember that someone said that Mandarins weren't a desirable snake for food. I don't know if it changes the way they are collected. The market conditions are shocking to the western world- but it wasn't that long ago that "The Jungle" exposed conditions that were deplorable in the U.S. Just a thought...
