in Illinois you can possess bullsnakes, but not produce or sell them. I think he mentioned you need a permit to breed and/or sell. Color morphs are exempt from the restrictions. You can breed/produce/sell albino or other morph bullsnakes. Illinois is also real sticky with hognoses I'm told. I'm sure there's more clarifications and additions to what I've said so you should check them out more. Rick Cunningham (Cunningham's Elaphe) is in Illinois and knows quite a bit on the laws and regulations. You could shoot him an e-mail and I'm sure he'll fill you in on legal and illegal.
