: I assume you're referring to Spilotes Pullatus from S. America. In that case, I have a trio of 9' adults (1.2) and the female is gravid. They are extremely easy snakes to keep - actually the problem is more in the way of being able to afford to feed them! They'll eat anything warm blooded (mice, rats, poultry). The main problem with them is that the wc imports are unbelieveably mean - threat displays, strikes etc. I'm fortunate that all three of mine are tame. They are somewhat nervous overall but become tractable over time. I used a simulated wet/dry season to get them to breed and the temps need to drop into the high 70's at night at the onset of the breeding "season" to get them to cycle (day time high of 86F) drop me a note if you want more info - underappreciated snakes in my opinion! Bill
