my first snake was a hatchling irian jaya carpet, around 12" long, but he was already on fuzzy mice/hoppers.

thanks for the compliments. Those pics aren't really anything special. I had it quarentined in a bathroom in a deli cup, so i just snapped some pics late at night when i was feeding. Alot of it is just my kick ass camera ;) i chose it pretty much simpley for its macro.

: I remember my first snake, an amel corn, that probably didn't have any meals through it when I bought it. It took a good 10-15 minutes to work its way around a pinkie, and left quite a huge lump, relative to the size of the snake.

:Nice picture series too. I am always impressed with your camera operating skills relative to focus, pose, and how close you are.
