That is one tiny and shiny fella. How big where the adults exactly?
I remember my first snake, an amel corn, that probably didn't have any meals through it when I bought it. It took a good 10-15 minutes to work its way around a pinkie, and left quite a huge lump, relative to the size of the snake.

Nice picture series too. I am always impressed with your camera operating skills relative to focus, pose, and how close you are.
