Dean, sounds like paralysis to me. I've seen babies hatch out this way before. I had a corn once that was like that, and I kept it to find out what would happen. It grew up to look like a normal corn, but never developed any feeling in the last third, or so, of the body. I ended up putting it away eventually. I would just chalk it up to a genetic defect, but then I'm not there, so can't decide for you. Good luck with it, and sorry to hear the bad news. TC.
:Hi Guys;
:Just wondering if anyone else has ever seen THIS?? Last week I noticed one of my baby obseletas felt like a string of jelly. He's been eating all winter & eats with gusto, however he had a really limp feel to him, his vitals were fine but for the last 7 inches of his body there was NO movement, no muscle tone, he wouldn't wrap around you fingers when handled. I looked him over really good, there didn't appear to be any injuries there, his spinal column felt OK but I just got tired of watching him drag his sorry little body around so I did 'the right thing'.......
:Go figure this was one of my favourite too :-( Any feedback would be appreciated.
:Thanx
:Dean
