I just keep wondering what I could have done differently, if anything, to have saved him. I just can't think of a single thing. :( I really appreciate the moral support here, too. My other half understands, as do my two closest friends, how upset I am but my family has been less than sympathetic - "it's just a snake" is my brother's comment. I really liked this guy - got him last September at MARS. He had this innocent looking 'scratch' that the guy I got him from felt should come off with the next shed. Nothing changed until December, and when it did, I immediately took him to the vet - been treating him pretty much ever since. It's just never easy, I guess.
